Denis Gagnon

A mix of materials, colors, patterns and techniques applied to outfits of multiple shapes has been noticed in this collection by Denis Gagnon, who is characterized as “more colorful than ever”.

Process Visual

It is a futurist show that Visual Process made us discover. The sober outfits were accompanied by colorful masks and transparent hats. Parts of the body that were covered or lacked mobility make us think that this new reality is containing us into a destabilizing future.

Janie McLaughlin

The collection IT’S TIME is based on the questioning of time and what it represents. It can be noticed by dots that are both on fabrics and metallic yarn that surround the body of some of the mannequins; bringing us back to this celestial conception of time. There was something for everyone’s taste in this collection that reflected the calculation needed to enhance the silhouette.

It is a colorful Annie Villeneuve that we saw during this evening! Delighted to attend Janie McLaughlin’s show, she even made an appearance during the finale to walk with the designer.

The singer, characterized as a “muse” for Janie, has been extremely supportive of the young designer’s creations, notably by wearing her pieces at events such as the ADISQ gala and Fashion Preview.

MARKANTOINE

Moon Riders 2 is the sequel to the first collection of MARKANTOINE, presented in 2015. You can find the designer’s gothic exotic universe. To bright colors and brocade are added fringes and straps, while keeping the skateboard and adding a few Lambert bags to complete some looks.

Fashion Preview is never disappointing and represents a form of tradition for Montreal fashion. We encourage them to continue to make local designers shine!
